Volunteers of the Year - 2024

Congratulations to Joe Kolb on his selection as a Volunteer of the Year. Joe has served on the Board of Directors for many years and is currently our immediate past president. He is an award winning artist and has often used his talent on behalf of the museum. Most recently, he created the artwork that was used to make a commemorative postcard and puzzle to celebrate the 100th birthday of the Grogan-Cochran House.

Congratulations to Cindy Sellars on her selection as Volunteer of the Year. Cindy has volunteered in many capacities over the last few years, but she is being recognized for organizing the Heritage Sewing & Craft Club. This group meets monthly to create unique handcrafted items for the museum gift shop. They also created the Lone Star Heritage Quilt for the first quilt raffle benefiting the museum.
