Montgomery County Historical Commission Check Presentation
Heritage Museum received a reimbursement grant from the Montgomery County Historical Commission through financial support of the Montgomery County Commissioner's Court. The museum received $11,400 for a new air conditioning and heating unit that helps to preserve historical documents, photographs, and memorabilia. Thank you so much! December 18th, 2025

Christmas in July Craft Sale
On July 18th & 19th, the Heritage Museum hosted a Craft Sale featuring members of the Heritage Sewing & Craft Club. There were 15 participants and everyone had a great time! Watch your calendars for the 2026 Christmas in July for wonderful handmade items.

Celebrating the 250th Birthday of the United States Navy
Gloria White and Mark Boyll with the celebration cake. There is a Navy tradition that the cake is cut by the oldest and youngest of the Navy Career Officers. Cutting the cake on October 11th is Lt. Commander Howard Thomas (oldest) and Lt. Commander Ed Sellards (youngest). Mark Boyll did a presentation on "Celebrating 250 Years of Navy Tradition" at the museum, followed by the cake cutting. Mark retired as a Commander from the U.S. Navy after 41 years of service.

Congratulations to Margaret Madeley!
Congratulations to Margaret Madeley! Margaret is the winner of the quilt that was lovingly created by members of the Featherweight Club for a raffle to benefit the HMMC. The quilt measures 80 inches by 69 inches. There are also two small pillows that match the quilt. We thank the members of the Featherweight Club for the beautiful quilt that they made for us to raffle and to everyone who purchased raffle tickets. We appreciate your support of the museum.
