2011 Pioneer Days School Schedule: |
Each year
in July the Museum hosts "Pioneer Days," a summer program for 8-11 year
olds and the cost is $45.00. Students who participate enjoy hands-on activities such as:

Pictured at left are children who participated in our previous Pioneer Day butter making class. Supplies and the butter making equipment were donated by Borden's. H.E.B., Inc. donates the oranges and Corn on the Cob. Trigg Catering, Inc. provide our plastic covered cups so the kids may take home their Honey and Butter. Volunteers from Exxon/Mobil also participated in the event. The other pictures shown throughout this page also came from previous Pioneer Days. Pioneer Days begin the FIRST Monday after July 4th each year. Children must pre-register and pay a fee . Please call for the latest information. Each session is limited to 20 students with four adults to supervise. Registration begins May 13, 2011. You must register in PERSON. The cost is $45.00. So
if your family includes a child age 8 to 11, register May 13th -- this program fills up fast! |
